Vernon Township has several upcoming events for residents to provide recreation, important information about property tax freezes, a community garage sale and more. • Join the Township from 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 9, for an Ice Cream Social at the Jacob Grossman Aquatic Center, 16652 N. Buffalo Grove Road, in Buffalo Grove. The event will include a live band, free lawn games, premium ice cream to purchase at the concession stand and discounted entrance to the pool. The township will also be holding a raffle for one Four Person Family 2023 Season Pool Pass -- participants do not need to be present to win.
