By Journal Staff | on October 06, 2023 Buffalo Grove police issued 11 seat belt citations, three distracted driving citations, three speeding citations and four other citations during the Child Passenger Safety Week enforcement campaign Sept. 15-30. Police joined forces with more than 200 other local law enforcement agencies across the state to increase awareness of proper child safety seat use and encourage all motorists to buckle up. The effort featured high-visibility enforcement combined with a variety of outreach activities, including a media campaign.
